Approximately 145,000 of the Northern Territory’s 245,000 population live in the state’s capital, Darwin. The Northern Territory holds one of the great Natural Wonders of the World, Uluru. It is located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, which is home to the Anangu people of the Matitjulu community.
Residing in the Northern Territory is the city of Alice Springs, also known as The Alice. Visitors to the state will hear all about the Red Centre of Australia. Once you see the seemingly endless red plains and rock formations, it will become very clear why. The Northern Territory is a must visit to experience true outback life.
