The village of Pallamallawa is located on the North West Slopes of the Moree Plains Shire of New South Wales. It is approximately 30km from the CBD of Moree, on the bank of the Gwydir River.
Pallamallawa is an agricultural hub for the region, with cotton, pecans, livestock, olives and grains all produced in the area. The largest pecan farm in Australia is established in the region. Pallamallawa is home to a local school, post office, general store, takeaway and a pub, among other services.
