The Winning Post Function Centre overlooking the beautiful Bushland Drive Racecourse in Taree is the ideal venue for your special wedding day. Weddings from 50 to 300 people can be comfortably cater for with various room configurations possible to make your room very intimate and special for you and your guests. We would be pleased to show you examples of how other brides and grooms have made their wedding day experience unique and set out to suit their particular requirements. The function centre is also the ideal venue for your conference or special event as broad as your imagination allows. Conferences from 20 to hundreds, business meetings and associated lunches, celebration dinners, clubs or special interest group dinners, school formal dinners and trade exhibitions. These are just selection of some of the events which have been recently held in the function centre. In addition to the main function centre room there are two other function rooms that can comfortably seat 100 people for a sit down dinner and these rooms are regularly booked by organisations conducting training days, business conferences, lunches and dinners. To add to the three function rooms we have vast expanses open air covered areas which really do allow you to think as 'broad as your imagination allows' when seeking a venue for that special large event or occasion.

'The Boathouse' is proudly situated at the end of Endeavour Place in Taree on the top level of the rowing club overlooking the mighty Manning River. With uninterrupted views from the inside out to the large verandah spanning from Dumaresq Island in the Northeast on the left, to the iconic Martin Bridge and the greater Manning Valley to the far right in the West, it's the perfect backdrop for weddings, conferences, meetings, training seminars, family functions, school formals and special events.
