Very disappointed with the food …. We were certainly hoping for an improvement with the new ownership… ceaser salad with no egg? Steak was tough and not cooked to order…. On the bright side the drinks were great overall the experience was disappointing

Very sad to say we did not receive the seating I had booked and made and effort by visiting to pub prior to our work function so to ensure we had the seating we wanted. Which was smaller tables to divide our group up into more intermit groups so that our colleges could get to know each other as the long group table set up was not what we were after we were specific about to tables and on booking even gave them the table numbers we wanted. They offered a back room area which also defeated the atmosphere we wanted to have with our group. The woman at the seating counter was argumentative and her manger would not give us what we had arranged and had taken it of us that morning and did not even notify us of this. It really put a damper on our work get together for me it was quiet up setting. Such a shame service has gone our the window.

Lunch 1st March 2022, ordered rump steak for lunch ( medium), where do I start, 80 % of the meat was gristle, the steak knife could not cut the meat, half the meat was split to quick cook the meal, served too quickly,no resting time,all the manager did was take the meal away and not even offer me some sort of replacement or recompense, DO NOT go there for a meal.( and we are locals)

Went for Valentine’s Day lunch today, food very poor in taste . Pizza dry and tasteless, have had better from a frozen home brand variety. Husbands bangers and mash equally tasteless and sausages fatty. Garden salad was lovely as was the view but would never receive or return
