About Lake Illawarra
Located on the South Coast of Wollongong and Illawarra in New South Wales, the suburb of Lake Illawarra is about 82 kilometres off of the capital city of Sydney. Some of the geographical features that surround Lake Illawarra are Bevans Island, Picnic Island and Boomerah Point, to name a few.
