Pallarenda is a suburb located in Townsville, Queensland. While there is some confusion on where the suburb ends and begins, many of the people agree that the Palladena Creek is the border between Palladena and Rowes Bay. Palladena is very popular with tourists because it’s only three streets away from the beach. It actually has a boat ramp that is directly connected to the beach that can accommodate up to three tonnes. Kitesurfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle surfing and swimming are just a few of the water-related activities you can engage in in Pallarenda. There’s also a horse exercise beach and an off-leash area for dogs to the south of Pallarenda, which makes it a popular destination for animal lovers as well.
