I had a horrible experience with Harvey Norman. I have bought a bed frame from them, which took nearly four months too arrive…I had organised a delivery day with them with Brie and then I had to recall her and rearrange another day because I wouldn’t be home. She said she would change it, and she obviously never did because I was at work and got home on my split shift and my bed was laying over my front door. It is a large timber bed frame so I couldn’t get into my apartment. They then proceeded to tell me that there delivery driver called the person I live with and she said just to leave it out the front. This did not happen, and Shelby from Harvey Norman stated that they wouldn’t leave it there if not directed to do so. They were not helpful, she spoke very condescendingly and had no urge to help me or apologise. The blame was put directly on us, who had been working all day. Awful customer service and terrible experience. Would not recommend at all.

Will not be stepping foot inside this store ever again. Bought a TV in April, went to tune it in in June, lots of lines on the screen. I run a hotel and need to keep TVs kettles etc in stock to replace broken ones. This TV had been sitting in Harvey Normans store since January! Contacted the store to be told that it is outside their 14 day return policy. That the TV rep can do nothing either. I asked for the reps number. Left 8 messages for the rep and called numerous times. Finally emailed someone at Hisense and they gave me 48 hours to bring the TV back to the store and to have it replaced. The guy in Harvey Norman had one job to do, look after the customer, me. He was incapable of this, passing me off to the rep. As useful as a chocolate tea pot. No apology from anyone, nothing at Harvey Norman. I have spent over $25K in this shop over the past few years. Not one cent more. Goodbye Harvey Norman.

Bought a number of items over the years from this store. Sales staff are very accommodating when you are buying, but as soon as you wish to return an item or have an issue, their service is extremely poor. Recently tried to return an unwanted Christmas gift (still in the box with receipt) to be told that we only had 14 days to do so (This was not written on the receipt, nor mentioned upon purchase). We then asked for an exchange and were refused. As a last resort we asked for a credit. This was also refused. The sales guy was arrogant and unhelpful. Wouldn’t recommend. Disappointing when you are trying to support local businesses, especially in times of such economic hardship.

I’ve had mixed experiences with warehouse staff in the past but I found the guys super helpful. Keep up the good work!

The lady named Shelby in Beds, Cairns Store is brilliant. We seen her twice when shopping and she was so approachable and her attitude with us was inviting. We wanted to buy from her but when we returned she was busy. Even though we didn't purchase through her, her professionalism made an impression and she is an asset to your store.

After my 88 yr old parents paid for a lift chair and the warehouse provided the wrong chair for us to bring home the correct one was delivered. Looking underneath you could see it was old floor stock. There was no remote and after waiting for one in the mail it was the wrong one. After 3 weeks the $1899 is still unable to be used as intended and sits like a common chair. Very poor service.

Harvey Norman is the perfect shop to obtain your electrical appliances and furniture. They have a massive range, from toasters to televisions, cooking appliances to vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens to refrigerators, bedding to lounge to kitchen furniture. They are also quite competitive in price and willing to do a deal most of the time. Staff are also very helpful and knowledgeable and aware of their competitors pricing. I would highly recommend.
