Will not be stepping foot inside this store ever again. Bought a TV in April, went to tune it in in June, lots of lines on the screen. I run a hotel and need to keep TVs kettles etc in stock to replace broken ones. This TV had been sitting in Harvey Normans store since January! Contacted the store to be told that it is outside their 14 day return policy. That the TV rep can do nothing either. I asked for the reps number. Left 8 messages for the rep and called numerous times. Finally emailed someone at Hisense and they gave me 48 hours to bring the TV back to the store and to have it replaced.
The guy in Harvey Norman had one job to do, look after the customer, me. He was incapable of this, passing me off to the rep. As useful as a chocolate tea pot.
No apology from anyone, nothing at Harvey Norman. I have spent over $25K in this shop over the past few years. Not one cent more.
