About Woodroffe

Palmerston is in turn under the Solomon federal division and the Drysdale state district. The name of this inner city suburb is taken from a Surveyor General who was assigned to survey Northern Territory land in the late 19th century, George Woodroffe Goyder.
Woodroffe is approximately 21 kilometres from Darwin airport, and it takes a taxi about 21 minutes travel time to get there.
