Mallanganee is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Kyogle Council in the state of New South Wales. The suburb is home to the Mallanganee National Park, which is a sheltered wildlife reserve on more than 1,100 hectares of sprawling land area. Established in January 1999, the park was added to the Focal Peak Group World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. It was then included in Australian National Heritage List in 2007. Tourists who plan to spend time in Mallanganee may visit the park and engage in activities such as bushwalking. Mallanganee is also a short distance away from other natural landmarks such as the Cherry Tree State Forest and the Sugarloaf State Forest.
