Situated on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, the small seaside village of Corindi Beach is located 33 kilometres north of Coffs Harbour, 50 kilometres south of Grafton and 194 kilometres north of Port Macquarie. The Pacific Highway passes through the village from the south, flanks the main township, and crosses the Corindi River. Corindi Beach and its neighbour suburb Arrawara are frequented by beach-goers and surfers in New South Wales, where they can find a number of surfing schools and surf camps dotting the suburb and the joined coastlines of Arrawarra Beach and Corrindi Beach, which boast of consistent waves. Corrindi Beach is patrolled during school holidays, making them ideal and safe swimming locations for all ages of swimmers. Other places of interest include the Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre and its adjacent Yarrawarra Bushwalk, Corindi Park, and Corindi Beach Holiday Park.
