Barkers Vale is a town located within the local government area of the Kyogle Council in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. The Kyogle Council is adjacent to the North Coast railway line and the Summerland Way. The area is a diverse region with amazing natural habitats. The Border Ranges National Park is located in the Kyogle region. It is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area and is home to a number of unique plants and animals. The Tweed Range Scenic Drive allows you to travel around the park at a pace that allows you to take a closer look at the landscape. Meanwhile, the Palm Valley loop walk is a short trail that goes through the rainforest.
