Angelique has been teaching Yoga, Meditation and relaxation practices since 2012 and decided to formalise her Yoga qualifications in 2016 through Living Peace Yoga. Having experienced chronic back pain for most of her life, Angelique embraced the practice of yoga as a method to self-manage her condition and improve her overall wellbeing. Angelique is a devoted yoga instructor with an insatiable desire and yearning to learn, grow and empower herself and others through yogic practices, adopting these ancient and powerful tools to help navigate the challenges of modern life. Founder of Peace it Together, Angelique is a level 2 registered yoga teacher with Yoga Australia, a registered member of the Meditation Association of Australia and a Yoga Therapist with over 1000 hours of formal training. She has been a dedicated student of yoga for over 15 years, studying with both local and international teachers such as Ginny Clarke, Hanuman Das, Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Matthews, Paul Wooden, Dr. Ganesh Mohan and his parents A.G Mohan and Indra Mohan of Svastha Yoga & Ayuveda. Angelique teaches regular classes and workshops in the Lake Macquarie region of NSW and is a regular performer of Kirtan (devotional chanting) at Living Peace Yoga in Toronto, NSW. Back to Balance yoga classes encompass building core strength and stability, increasing flexibility, developing concentration and heightened self awareness. You will learn appropriate yoga postures, yogic breathing and deep relaxation.%09 Classes are relaxed and friendly in a supportive and non competitive environment. Everyone is welcome. My aim is to bring yoga to the average person. You don't have to be fit, strong or even flexible but will be encouraged to work within your physical capacity to develop a practice at your own individual pace.
