Absolutely perfect! We stayed in a cabin, was very cold outside but the split system made inside snug, had a beautiful view of the river! Would recommend staying here and we will be back!! The pub and general store do a really good feed! Highly recommend checking these out!

Alison says the wonderful selections of flowers and trees make it a beautiful spot for weddings or photoshoots. You're free to walk in and around the gardens on an ordinary day. These gardens are lovely on any day but when she visited, Gardenesque was on. The family entry to Gardenesque was $25 and there were a whole lot of food stalls and gardening. There were also many good local food stalls and those from out of town. Plus, there was entertainment for kids and live music on two separate stages. She highly recommends attending the show, too.

It was an absolute delight listening to him share captivating stories that accompanied each piece of memorabilia. What made my visit even more remarkable was discovering that Chris dedicates his time and expertise to the museum as a passionate hobby. The entire operation runs practically on donations, which is truly heartwarming to hear. It's evident that this is a labor of love for Chris, and his dedication shines through in every aspect of the museum.
