The Albury LibraryMuseum was the first combined facility of its kind in Australia and opened in July 2007. Local company, Zauner Constructions, built the award-winning design of internationally renowned architects, Ashton Raggatt McDougall (ARM), whose credentials include the impressive National Museum of Australia. Sally says they have a great selection of DVDs and books and the librarians are wonderful. The service here is also marvelous.

Alison says the wonderful selections of flowers and trees make it a beautiful spot for weddings or photoshoots. You're free to walk in and around the gardens on an ordinary day. These gardens are lovely on any day but when she visited, Gardenesque was on. The family entry to Gardenesque was $25 and there were a whole lot of food stalls and gardening. There were also many good local food stalls and those from out of town. Plus, there was entertainment for kids and live music on two separate stages. She highly recommends attending the show, too.
