Hi. I'm Lisa. Welcome! I am the founder of the Yoga and Meditation Lounge, which was originally opened in Cleveland, Brisbane in 2011. After working with students and clients here for over a decade, I sold the studio operation in 2022, and moved to the Sunshine Coast, where I'm now enjoying the coast life and all it offers. You can now find me teaching at various locations on the coast. ​I welcome you to join me. I'd love to meet you!

Zenko yoga was founded by Lauren Verona in 2014 after selling her 2 yoga studios, Kozen in Melbourne and moving with her family to the Sunshine Coast for a lifestyle change. Zen means the 'contemplative state’ and Ko is the Japanese word for child. The aim of yoga, and Zenko is to bring the mind back to a child like state, free of anxiety and concern. The name Zenko, was created, as most of Lauren's ideas were, through meditation. Her original studios were called 'Kozen' and the terms were reversed when opening up the 3rd and 4th studio in Queensland. Zenko Yoga opened its doors with ten classes per week and have more than quadrupled with 4 studios across the Sunshine Coast (and perhaps more to come) offering over 20 classes each per week. Zenko Yoga is often referred to by it's members as a healing sanctuary and the minute you step foot in the door, you discover that for yourself. We support local businesses and schools, hold community events, exhibit at lifestyle expos, support charities, host workshops and invite guests to share our space. We offer a range of therapies in house for clients to complement their practice and growth as they enter the yoga journey. We hold retreats in house and internationally as an opportunity for our community and beyond to practice yoga in ways that will change their life forever.

Jodi has and always will have a love of the ballet barre. After moving to Melbourne at 17 to study her Diploma in Classical Dance Jodi was involved in a serious car accident and told she was unable to perform. Disheartened to hear this news, Jodi went in search of other forms of exercise and fell in love with barre classes. Jodi began teaching barre in Melbourne and decided to leave her office job in pursue of becoming a full time barre babe expert! Jodi has been teaching since 2012 and has well over 500 hours of barre teaching experience. A qualified Barre, Yoga, Pilates, and Qi Gong instructor , Jodi's years of teaching experience is shown throughout her classes as she provides a fun yet challenging class focusing on technique (all that classical ballet training 17+ years came in handy!) which ultimately gives you really quick RESULTS.

Rejuvenate Pilates' founder Kerryn Smith knows first-hand what it feels like to be in a body that doesn't move well. Her journey began over 15 years ago when she was diagnosed with scoliosis and spinal arthritis. After trialling myriad therapies, Kerryn discovered Pilates had helped provide relief from her chronic pain. With consistent, regular practice she regained movement in her spine, increased her strength and found a way to sustain a healthy weight. Through Pilates, Kerryn transformed her life from debilitating agony to becoming an active and mobile mother of two lively daughters. Kerryn's dream is to continue assisting others to replace pain and suffering with a sense of vitality and natural movement.

Bec has 42 years of Hospital trained Registered Nurse Experience. She has 36 years of Registered Psychiatric Nurse Experience. She was an ICU Specialist, A Coronary Care & High Dependency Clinical Nurse Specialist. She was also a Palliative Care Specialist for 4 years working in the Community looking after Patients with cancer in their homes with the District Nurses of South Australia (her home town in Adelaide) & also worked for the Blue Nurses on the Sunshine Coast before her son started school. She Completed her Reiki (Isui Method) training in 1988. She's been teaching & holding Meditation Groups since 1988; she used to run them for her in-patients at Hillcrest Psychiatric Hospital as a means of teaching her patients how to regulate their Nervous Systems and manage their stress and elevated states. She taught & lectured in the USA in the Health & Wellness Industry & the Health and Weight Loss Industry during her time living there 1992 to 1993. She has experience and expertise on her side. She's been running groups & holding sacred space for healing and Helping the body's innate healing capacity to come on line for over 36 years. Her psychic & finely tuned Medical Intuitive capacity has helped many of her clients over the years. Her immense wealth of knowledge has helps thousands of clients over the decades she has been working the Energy Medicine to heal their bodies, their emotions and their mindset. She is highly attuned.
