Bec says she had delicious garlic prawns and the kids were very happy with their steak. The atmosphere in the kids' area was very friendly and she didn't have to wait very long. Bec says the entertainment deck is great.

Live locally, have tried all fish and chips eateries over the years and Saltmine wins hands down. The fish is cooked perfectly, we all had a different type of the cooking, battered, crumbed and grilled. The grilled fish combo made with garlic butter and sweet chilli sauce is the best I have ever had. The owner and all of the staff are polite, friendly and know their menu well. The staff gave us some advice on what we best for our group to order, giving us the best and most economic way to feed a large group of us. As well as fish, a couple of our group ordered burgers. They were fresh and the meat was real mince that actually has some flavour. I would defiantly recommend Saltmine to locals and visitors. You will not be disappointed. Heads up to the owners, your staff are a credit to you.
