I had been familiar with the florist's work for a while and have always really liked her arrangements. We used J'adore Flowers and Gifts for our bouquets at our recent wedding and were very happy with the results. They were exactly what we wanted

I've had many balloons from Balloons Etc over the years and have always been happy with the quality and look of my balloons. They also last for ages. Nothing is ever a hassle and it's always been service with a smile.

Thank you 'I Do Flowers', received flowers from my husband whilst in Cairns Base hospital on 17th May & have just now, 16th June, sorted orchids still thriving. A beautiful arrangement. Liz Ford

I Do Flowers

Ivy Florist did a great job and made my dream come true. They were so generous and kind. I was married at the Cairns Private hospital as my father was soon to be no longer of this world and it meant so much to me for him to be there. Ivy Florist donated the most incredible bouquet of flowers making me look and feel like a gorgeous bride in a chapel and no longer a tired and frightened daughter in a hospital. Thank you again, my wedding was perfect and beautiful. Your actions restored everyone’s faith in humanity and lifted all of my family’s spirits!

I contacted Lisa by phone to organise flowers and a gift for a 21st birthday in Kewarra Beach. Lisa was so helpful in organising a gift to go with a bouquet of flowers. Communication was great and she even sent me a picture of the flowers and gift which looked amazing. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use again. 5 stars from me, thank you

The place to find the best Florists in Cairns

Blossoming Artistry: The Flourishing Craft of Floristry

Florists are more than mere sellers of beautiful blooms. They are the artists, the ones who masterfully blend colours, forms, and scents into captivating arrangements that elicit delight and spark emotions.

These creative geniuses are deeply intimate with nature's palette. They're wizards in matching delicate roses with sun-soaked daisies or velvety violets with feathery ferns. When it comes to the finest foliage and most breathtaking blossoms, they're veritable encyclopedia!

At Cairn's flower shops which embrace a refreshing visceral connection with this people-friendly city is where these florists thrive. But don't mistake them for just being about aesthetics. Every bloom sold here has its purpose – carnations to evoke love, lilies for funerals, cheerful sunflowers to brighten somber settings.

In between customers' visits, you'll spot them crafting bouquets that speak volumes; painstakingly choosing each stem as a poet might agonize over every word. Indeed, their understanding of human sentiments mirrors that of a seasoned writer - achingly honest, benefitting from years of nuanced observations.

They also advise customers on proper plant care because their role extends beyond selling plants. It's in their blood to nurture growth - be it floral or personal relationships built on recurring customers yearning for beauty

Though most people see only the final product, the florist’s work is anything but simple. A scientist's precision coupled with an artist’s touch – capturing emotions in bouquets involves weaving a complex tap-estry.

Long hours tending to tender blossoms in chilled rooms temper their days while remaining on top of trends keep their creativity flowing.

Despite this seeming clandestine art requiring attention and dedication at all sorts of hours and times of weeks and months – it remains energizing rather than draining in Cairns’ thriving flora community who embraces long traditions.

So the next time you pass by a beautiful bouquet in Cairns, take extra notice. There's a depth of love and expertise in every stem. That handmade arrangement is no mere happenstance; it's cultivated artistry composed by an unseen maestro working tirelessly behind-the-scenes – the florist.
