Beach Fit Dance is Newcastle's leading fitness based dance school. Beach Fit Dance has Dance & Fitness classes for all ages. Teaching tiny tots to adults in jazz, tap, Dance Fit, Zumba, ballet, contemporary & hip hop. All teachers are experienced holding Dance, Fitness, Childcare and Senior First Aid qualifications. Beach Fit Dance has Studios in Mayfield, East Maitland, Caves Beach & Fern Bay. Dance classes include: Tiny Tots - Music, Dance, Movement & Fitness for 2-4 year olds Pre-school Ballet - Age appropriate music and movement activities to teach children the basics of dance through enjoyable classes. Tiny Tots through to Juniors - Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Polerina's, Chinese Pole Dragons & Hip Hop ZumbAtomic - Zumba fitness classes for kids which includes fun & exciting dance moves and music which the kids just love! The East Maitland Academy of Dance is run by János Szabó, a member of the Hungarian National Ballet who took over the school, which was establishedin 1947, in 2009. The aims of the school are to create an optimal learning environment in order to enable the students to achieve the highest level they are capable of in the genre they wish to pursue. Classical Ballet training provides the technical support base form which all the other genres of dance benefit. Students are guided by highly skilled professionals in Classical (R.A.D), Vaganova, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.

East Maitland Dance Headquarters is a prime school candidate that offers dancing lessons for beginners. We also offer advanced instruction to those seeking to learn new styles and elevate their dancing to a new level. We are amongst the few dance schools in Maitland which offer a wide array of lessons in varying dance styles. Our classes are handled by experienced teachers who have more than 30 years of combined experience in dancing as a performing art. Most of our classes focus on learning routines for our end of year performance normally held late November. However, we also offer classes just for fitness and fun!
