About East Maitland Academy of Dance
The East Maitland Academy of Dance is run by János Szabó, a member of the Hungarian National Ballet who took over the school, which was establishedin 1947, in 2009. The aims of the school are to create an optimal learning environment in order to enable the students to achieve the highest level they are capable of in the genre they wish to pursue. Classical Ballet training provides the technical support base form which all the other genres of dance benefit. Students are guided by highly skilled professionals in Classical (R.A.D), Vaganova, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.
