East Maitland Dance Headquarters is a prime school candidate that offers dancing lessons for beginners. We also offer advanced instruction to those seeking to learn new styles and elevate their dancing to a new level. We are amongst the few dance schools in Maitland which offer a wide array of lessons in varying dance styles. Our classes are handled by experienced teachers who have more than 30 years of combined experience in dancing as a performing art. Beginners, including toddlers, can learn to dance in Maitland through our classical ballet program. We offer a program where aspiring ballerinas can learn the basics of deportment, posture and grace. East Maitland Dance Headquarters also teaches modern contemporary dance based on the technical aspects of classical ballet. We also have expert mentors on lyrical dancing, hip-hop and jazz. It also makes us proud to be one of the selected dance schools in Maitland which has a syllabus for children aged between three and six years old. These kids can learn to dance under our jazz and tap dancing lessons. For this age group, we also have ballet lessons, which is a great way for kids to improve their fitness while having fun. In addition, we have lessons in rhythmic gymnastics and cheerleading as well as burlesque and cabaret dance training for adults. East Maitland Dance Headquarters prides itself as one of the dance schools in Maitland that offers special programs for persons with disability. The East Maitland Academy of Dance is run by János Szabó, a member of the Hungarian National Ballet who took over the school, which was establishedin 1947, in 2009. The aims of the school are to create an optimal learning environment in order to enable the students to achieve the highest level they are capable of in the genre they wish to pursue. Classical Ballet training provides the technical support base form which all the other genres of dance benefit. Students are guided by highly skilled professionals in Classical (R.A.D), Vaganova, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.

At Bella's Pole Studio, we combine a perfect mix of strengthening, toning, stretching and cardio, all for a phenomenal full body workout. We build your strength gradually by incorporating strength and flexibility training into the floor work portion of all our levels of classes. All classes are designed for women ONLY and are for all ages (must be over 16), shapes, sizes and fitness levels. There are 8 week courses, private training and free information and viewing sessions (week 8 of each term). We have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes to help you grow from one level to the next. Classes are housed in a beautiful, fully air-conditioned and carpeted dance studio in Morisset (easily located off the F3 Freeway). We promise a safe, friendly, non-sexual environment with NO spectators or nudity. We also have a small creche area that will enable you to bring your young children along to class. Our classes are great fun and overall, enable you to empower yourself!
