Happened here by chance on Anzac Day. After a very disappointing visit to OReilleys rainforest retreat we found ourselves in Canungra. Our lucky day we found Blackbird country pies . This little cafe was so beautiful, all the staff were so accomodating, extremely helpful and extremely polite. I am a breastfeeding mum and my baby has a dairy and soy allergy. This means I can’t have either of those things. Whilst dairy is easy to avoid these days, soy on the other hand is not. But this cafe did everything they could to make sure I could still eat here, the changed menu items to accomodate my needs and my meal was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back here 10/10.

i'm doing this review because i think that an Italian business in Australia should keep the quality very high. This morning i bought a focaccia, i specifically asked if was made today, as the other time i got it was amazing. Well, arrived home it clearly wasn't, seemed like the bred of yesterday in a plastic bag, old. Everybody in the house said the same and i didn't like it. Not for the $3, but a bakery should have fresh product and if is not then say it! Apart from this episode, i am a regular at the bakery and the products are usually very good.
