Happened here by chance on Anzac Day. After a very disappointing visit to OReilleys rainforest retreat we found ourselves in Canungra. Our lucky day we found Blackbird country pies . Great pies & peas we should know as we are two pinkie eating pie faces. What a charming & lovely welcome we received. Guys you made our day X

This little cafe was so beautiful, all the staff were so accomodating, extremely helpful and extremely polite. I am a breastfeeding mum and my baby has a dairy and soy allergy. This means I can’t have either of those things. Whilst dairy is easy to avoid these days, soy on the other hand is not. But this cafe did everything they could to make sure I could still eat here, the changed menu items to accomodate my needs and my meal was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back here 10/10.

The Albert Street Bakery is located on the main street of Inglewood, a pretty little town on Queensland’s Darling Downs, three and a half hours southwest of Brisbane. The Bakery is an ideal place to plan a stop on your way between Warwick and Goondiwindi or between Toowoomba and Goondiwindi or Inverell/Texas and Toowoomba. Thank you for making my best birthday cake ever ! it looked spectacular and it was absolutely delicious. The profiteroles were delicious, generous strawberries, yummy toffee and a very special cream filled pastry base all built into a neat presentation. Everyone enjoyed eating it.
