Featured Reviews of the Best Auto Electricians in Newcastle

4.4 Average Rating based on 84 reviews from 39 Auto Electricians near Newcastle

After being taken for a ride at a local large dealership mechanic, years ago, I moved to Steve Toms Automotive, Adamstown, after many recommendations. My older (2008 Ford Escape - aka the Ford Ferrari, and I will never leave. The service, honesty and integrity of Steve, Kurt (my very favourite mechanic) and the entire team is definitely 5 star.

Met Karl and had an amazing experience. These guys really saved our holidays. Severed wires between our car and caravan….. no problems for these guys. First class customer service and repairs. Couldn’t speak highly enough of their service. Above and beyond! Thank you.😊

My NBN battery started beeping and as it is Good Friday tomorrow was keen to get a new battery today. Rang Battery World Cardiff. Lovely man came out to my house two hours later and had it replaced in a couple of minutes. Great service at very reasonable price

Theo's Mechanical Repairs

I recently started taking my vehicles to Theo’s on the recommendation of a friend. After a breakdown I got my car to their workshop & they fitted it into their schedule & had me back on the road the same day. I rate their workmanship & customer service as outstanding . Theo takes the time to explain the work that’s been done & any scheduled maintenance that will be required in the future.

So accomodating and wonderful! Did fantastic work super quickly, really kind and were happy to educate me and explain what they were doing for me. Literally one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The guys were friendly and not condescending in the slightest (even when I asked stupid questions) and even explained what I should do next. I cannot recommend enough, so incredible to find such amazing customer service so close by. I was treated with compassion, respect and professionalism, and If I could give 6/5 stars I would, thank you again for everything!!

Gibbo's Auto Electrics & Air Conditioning Services

BMW X3 Auto stop/start not functioning properly, with all sorts of error messages, initiated on menu screen, plus go directly to BMW Service centre. Contacted Gibbo’s (Paul), informed they had a former BMW mechanic amongst staff. Diagnosed battery issue, ( 7.5 yrs old). Time efficient, and very cost efficient. Smooth drive since 01/07/2020. Thanks guy’s.

Gibbo's Auto Electrics & Air Conditioning Services

Aircon busted in the middle of heading down to Sydney. Parts would have cost 2,000+ to replace, dealership recommended Gibbo's. Great customer service got us in within the same day and cost less than 1/5 of the price. 10/10

Need an auto electrician?

Step into any garage in Newcastle, and odds are you'll rub elbows with an auto electrician. These unsung heroes wear many hats in their line of work: mechanic, problem solver, detective, to name a few. But buckle up because diving under the hood of what auto electricians do is quite the ride.

Auto electricians, quite aptly, light up our world - literally! They keep our car's headlights bright on those starless nights on your journey home from Merewether Beach. But there's more than just meets the eye; they're swift troubleshooters and seasoned veterans who ensure every bit of juice that flows through your vehicle does so as smoothly as a schooner at a summer barbie.

When the chips are down and your car throws a tantrum faster than a roo jumping a fence, these guys come charging - eradicating gremlins in your ignition system or soothing rattled nerves from dysfunctional aircon units.

No job is too big or small for them; whether it's fitting burglar alarms one day or resurrecting lifeless power windows the next. It comes as no surprise then that routine tasks like installing audio and GPS systems just seem like a drop in the ocean. But let's face it; when you've mastered electrical circuits as well as an Emu has off-road sprints down Stockton dunes, affixing gadgets falls under 'all in a day’s work'.

In essence, auto electricians unclog arteries to ensure cars’ livers can keep ticking. Even though we're motoring through headwinds of advancement with hybrid vehicles and whisper-quiet electric cars creeping onto our highways, trust them to stay one jump ahead with tools ready primed.

So next time your car decides to go up the spout while cruising around Newcastle’s boulevards or during beach runs along glorious shores of Lake Macquarie; remember that handy auto electrician who saves us from biting off more than we can chew when our ride bails out.
