Pilates began as a series of strengthening and body conditioning exercises developed by a pioneering man named Joseph Pilates. His legacy lives on today in the simple yet elegant equipment and the series of powerful but subtle exercises done on the mat. The Pilates equipment is based upon springs and sliding components which give participants as much challenge as their bodies require. Our clients range in age from young teenage dancers to eighty year olds looking to stay active in their daily lives. Rejuvenate Pilates' founder Kerryn Smith knows first-hand what it feels like to be in a body that doesn't move well. Her journey began over 15 years ago when she was diagnosed with scoliosis and spinal arthritis. After trialling myriad therapies, Kerryn discovered Pilates had helped provide relief from her chronic pain. With consistent, regular practice she regained movement in her spine, increased her strength and found a way to sustain a healthy weight. Through Pilates, Kerryn transformed her life from debilitating agony to becoming an active and mobile mother of two lively daughters. Kerryn's dream is to continue assisting others to replace pain and suffering with a sense of vitality and natural movement.

Rejuvenate Pilates' founder Kerryn Smith knows first-hand what it feels like to be in a body that doesn't move well. Her journey began over 15 years ago when she was diagnosed with scoliosis and spinal arthritis. After trialling myriad therapies, Kerryn discovered Pilates had helped provide relief from her chronic pain. With consistent, regular practice she regained movement in her spine, increased her strength and found a way to sustain a healthy weight. Through Pilates, Kerryn transformed her life from debilitating agony to becoming an active and mobile mother of two lively daughters. Kerryn's dream is to continue assisting others to replace pain and suffering with a sense of vitality and natural movement.
