Torbanlea is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Fraser Coast Region in the state of Queensland. The suburb has a rich historical background reflected by the Burrum Mining Museum. This place serves as the home for 11 buildings that contain 4,400 pieces of antique items related to the coal mining industry, when it was once a major part of the local economy. Tourists may also witness the exciting atmosphere during the annual racing event in October at the Racetrack and Sports grounds. The experience of spending vacations in Torbanlea will also be complete with a relaxing stay at the historic hotel building, while getting to know more about the town as it was in the early days.
