Over 200 kilometres away from the state capital, the town of Nanango is located in the South Burnett region of Queensland. Known as the fourth oldest town in Queensland, Nanango is rich in culture and history that came from the farming and mining community that was once present in the area. There are sculptures and murals in the Nanango Central Business District that visitors can explore. Tourists can pass through Nanango to visit the Bunya Mountains or the Coomba Falls. One of the largest rural markets in Queensland happens at Nanango every first Saturday of the month. The Nanango Country Markets has over 800 stalls that offer the freshest produce and local ingredients.
