Avoca is a suburban town located in the local government area of the Bundaberg Regional Council in the state of Queensland. The suburb is adjacent to the Burnett River to the northern and western ends, while the eastern portion is bordered by Isis Highway. Avoca is generally a residential suburb of Bundaberg but it borders agricultural farmland and the Burnett River. Avoca is near Sugarland Shoppingtown and is less 2.5 km from the Bundaberg Airport. Avoca is conveniently located near the heart of Bundaberg and is easy driving distance to all the major industries and businesses in the city.
