Reliant is a total waste of money. The apartment inspection was just WRONG in at least 7 major areas - some points in their report suggested they didn't actually turn up to view the apartment. Get your report from someone else.

I used Reliant Pest and Building for the purchase of my new house. I called, booked in and Glenn provided me the report within 24hrs. Excellent service and a thorough job.

See my full review on Google reviews for the full story (limited text here). Reliant missed several significant structural defects. I had an independent inspector come in for a second opinion. The independent inspector found the following structural defects that were not documented by Reliant. Termite damage, rotated piers, rotated front brick wall, significantly bowed right side brick wall. The independent inspector advised that the right side brick wall required re-building (~$30k-$40k). This was confirmed by a structural engineer. Over a phone call with Reliant before exchange of contracts, Reliant did not mention that the right side brick wall was significantly bowed, but Reliant did mention that it was cracked. Reliant’s advice in regards to the right side brick wall was ‘just get a bricky there for a couple of days and it will be fine’. I withdrew from the purchase and I’m now $2400 out of pocket because of the significant structural defects missed by Reliant pest and building.

Report did not highlight key issues with roof - stated metal however there were 2 sections of old polycarbonate sheeting which leaked and caused internal damage during storm. When I contacted inspector to discuss my concerns with the quality of his report he was not prepared to accept any form of liability.
