Move and Play Paediatric Therapy is a local business providing friendly, professional and comprehensive physiotherapy services for children of all ages, from babies to adolescents and young adults. What We Do: Move and Play Paediatric Therapy provides comprehensive, individualised, goal directed and family friendly physiotherapy services. We offer a mobile service, providing care in your own home, or in your child's natural environments, such as their day care, school or a local park or playground. This allows your child to feel at ease, and allows them to perform to their natural ability, which can sometimes be more difficult in an unfamiliar clinical setting. Our service delivery methods are flexible in order to meet the needs of the child and family. Your child's physiotherapy program is decided in partnership with you, as their parent, and may consist of one on one treatment or small group sessions, hydrotherapy, home programs, orthotic analysis and prescription, equipment trials and prescription, and collaboration with or referral to other relevant health professionals when indicated. We provide services across Mackay, from Shoal Point to Sarina. We can also travel to the outer regions of Mackay when required for an additional travel fee. For those families who live in regional and rural areas of Mackay and the Hinterland, we can also provide Skype or telehealth appointments when appropriate. She has extensive experience working with children and their families in the local Mackay area. Emily has a special interest in the treatment of children with developmental delay, movement difficulties, and/or disability, and has undertaken postgraduate education and training in this area.
