About KJ Dance

KJ Dance (formerly known as Kazzajazz) is owned and operated by Karen Lees who together with her talented staff teach and direct students to reach their potential in all genres of dance! From the age of 2 years students are encouraged to pursue their love of dance and attain the highest grades for their dance styles. KJ Dance provides 'state of the art' dance studios with teachers who have a passion for dance! Your child will have the option of learning one dance form or many and can choose from Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Silks, Lyrical, AcroDancer and Hip Hop. Examinations for Ballet RAD, Tap and Jazz ADA are also an option. Private tuition for Eisteddfod solos is also available. KJ Dance is noted for the brilliant costumes provided for the annual shows at a discounted rate to all students! Come and see for yourself, view a class, chat to the teacher and ask questions as we value your input and want to ensure that your child will be comfortable in learning to dance and perform for many years to come!

My daughter just loves jazz and tap classes in ready, steady, dance! We will definitely be staying with you every Fridays. The dance teachers are lovely and the studio looks professional and tidy. Thank you for making my daughter so happy - she can't wait to come back..

All the dance performances were so fantastic. Spectacular choreography from Miss Alana in the concerts-extremely entertaining! You are so talented. The advanced girls in the hip-hop and tap were mesmerizing. The under 14 jazz and tap troupes are really such talented youngsters. Well done to everyone.

Do parents watch classes?

Parents wait in our comfortable waiting area while classes are on. Our experience shows that the learning environment is more effective when adults and siblings are not distracting the dancers. The studio has ways for parents to be a part of their child’s dancing experience. This can include viewing windows and ‘Watching Days’.
