Coonabarabran is in New South Wales and lies along the truck routes running between Victoria and Queensland. The town is located in Warrumbungle Shire and provides visitors with access to the Warrumbungle National Park. One of the town’s landmarks and most treasured buildings is the Coonabarabran Memorial Town Clock, which was erected at its very center. This memorial was dedicated in 1928 as a tribute to the brave men who served in World War 1. There are 255 names inscribed on brass plaques on all four sides of the structure.
