Peter is a skilled professional counsellor with experience across a broad range of issues facing teenagers, adults, couples, and families. He is registered member of the Australian Counselling Association, and has particular interest in relationships, depression and anxiety, abusive behaviours, parenting, addiction recovery, trauma recovery, and communication and conflict resolution. He is a very approachable, people person of many years life experience working with clients in a variety of settings and roles apart from counselling, including many years of volunteer work with the homeless, pastoral care, community support work, and school chaplaincy. I have been working as a counsellor since 2000 when I was running the Salvation Army Women's out-client services since that time I have worked in various services in Townsville, Sydney, the Tablelands and Cairns before my return to Townsville in 2012. My experience ranges from Substance Use and Abuse, Relationships and Work Place issues and lots in between. My passion is to inspire, motivate and support people.
