CentacareCQ is a large, vibrant and well respected community organisation providing services across the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton: from Mackay in the north; to Bundaberg in the south; and west to Longreach. Our primary focus is the delivery of compassionate yet professional social services to all through education, counselling and community support. We encourage and strengthen individuals, couples and families to continue to develop and grow. As the official Catholic social service agency for the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton, CentacareCQ serves all people without regard to religion, race, age, economic circumstance or ethnic background. As a not for profit organisation, CentacareCQ's dominant purpose is to provide direct relief of suffering, stress, misfortune, disability or helplessness, sickness and the effects of poverty for the benefit of the community.

We are an inclusive service that does not discriminate regardless of age, race, cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, gender or disability. We are about making sure young people have the best support, information, and services for their health and wellbeing including physical health, mental health, drug and alcohol issues, employment, and education support. Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. We began in 2006, and ever since we’ve provided early intervention mental health services to 12-25-year-olds. Each year, we help thousands of young people, and their family and friends, access vital support through our headspace services in over 154 communities[1] across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
