Travelling from NSW and now around Qld we had a rego check which found the need for small repairs and tyres . A quick call to Isis Tyre Service at Childers and they fitted us in for a review and then found time to fix both the sump leak and provide two new tyres very quickly. Took a bit of stress off us.

My car broke down last Sunday afternoon driving home from Rockhampton to Brisbane Once my breakdown service had engaged HD mechanical , David took the stress out of that experience for me by doing a test on my car the next morning, advising that it needed to go to Honda and calling my breakdown provider to make that happen. All by lunchtime the next day I'm very greatfull that there are businesses around still like David's

My son was travelling back home from the same area as Avondale Auto Repairs, moving all of his belongings after living in the area for a short time. The car over heated badly and was irrepairable in the short term. They advised us about the options available and said that they would be okay to keep the car an trailer on their property while my son returned home as he had a plane to catch. Kevin and the team looked after the car and trailer (including glad wrapping the trailer to keep the content dry), for about two weeks while we worked out what we were going to do with the car and get up there to collect my sons belongings. Eventually we were able to get there after about three weeks to retrieve everything. No storage charged and they even gave us an adapter for the trailer so we could tow it back home. Another few weeks or more later, we are thinking that we will ask Avondale Auto repairs to install a new engine rather than writing the car off.
