With a warning light on the dash blue smoke and loss of power....we won the lottery when we pulled in here. These people were so helpful and friendly. They had the problem diagnosed and repaired in a matter of ten or fifteen minutes. Turned out it was relatively simple issue for them, although it didn't seem that way to us when pulled in there. Big sighs of relief- lots of banter.... about "bloody Ford Rangers" ..... and we were back on the road. Plus I tried several times but they refused to let me pay them. There are some really genuine friendly people left in this world. THANK YOU!!!

Excellent phone manners ! Excellent empathy and understanding skills ! My Fiat Ducato brakes decided to lock on 3 seconds into 1770, these guys Kevin, Ben and in particular Ian made the worst thing to happen that day into a minor inconvenience. Our 4 hour tow home seemed like a 20 minute trip with an old friend. Thank you Gentlemen for turning a major pain into a chance to make memories of kindness and help.

My son was travelling back home from the same area as Avondale Auto Repairs, moving all of his belongings after living in the area for a short time. The car over heated badly and was irrepairable in the short term. They advised us about the options available and said that they would be okay to keep the car an trailer on their property while my son returned home as he had a plane to catch. Kevin and the team looked after the car and trailer (including glad wrapping the trailer to keep the content dry), for about two weeks while we worked out what we were going to do with the car and get up there to collect my sons belongings. Eventually we were able to get there after about three weeks to retrieve everything. No storage charged and they even gave us an adapter for the trailer so we could tow it back home. Another few weeks or more later, we are thinking that we will ask Avondale Auto repairs to install a new engine rather than writing the car off.

Wonderful service - we stopped here on 8th December needing assistance with our rear view mirror which had fallen. Kevin kindly assisted us by re-installing our mirror (a special model require for me to drive) and did it with a smile and no charge. Very much appreciated!!

I have been taking my vehicles to Avondale Auto Repairs for 20 years and I have always had great service and a friendly relationship and they always try to keep the prices down to a minimum. They don't do too badly with the odd mental problem as well!

We had a breakdown with our campervan close to Avondale and got towed into this place shortly before they were closing. We were allowed to stay for one night to get the problem fixed on the following day. There is not much to do around, so we decided to stay in that place while they were fixing it. They started fixing our car at 10am and we left at 5pm. We were able to watch them during the whole working day which was very inefficient. We got really unclear informations/updates what was going on during the whole stay. They spent maximum 3 hours actual working on our car and however they wanted to charge us for 6 hours. The boss got very rude and threatened us after we didn't accept to pay them for 6 hours. We wouldn't recommend if you want fair prices, but thumbs up for fixing the problem!

Paul, you were towed in out of the blue, we fitted your job between all our other booked jobs. We had two mechanics on your job and made a trip to town for parts. We got you back on the road as quickly as possible. Regrets for the frayed temper....we deal with all sorts of here and sometimes it gets stressful. Smooth travelling to you. John.
