Josie and Jason renovated our pool 3yrs ago now. What we had before was truly awful, surface delaminating, stairs that couldn't really be called stairs.... Just terrible. I called Josie, from the first I knew she was the person to help me. She saw the pool and then explained what was wrong, what needed to be done. We worked closely together to achieve the best outcome, being a reno we had to work within limitations which made it challenging. Then Jason came in and did the physical transformation. The craftsmanship was amazing from what he had to work with at first to what he transformed. We were more than impressed. To this day I still call Josie for advice and recommendations. The after service care is phenomenal!!! I get my water test, chemicals and upgrades in pool technology and information from them. They really have a passion for quality pools and their customers.

We have used DC Fencing before and we just recently moved and Chris kindly came out to do a quote. Really nice man and they know what they are doing. Time frame to do the fence is amazing, Best fencing company ever. Thanks Chris. Dawn and David.

DC Fencing
Chris attended to view job description of double gates for a motorhome access. Provided a range of fitting options, colour selections and pricing the same evening. DC Fencing's pricing was the best I found and provided the most detail. Once I paid the deposit, his team was onsite within a couple of days to undertake the preparation work whilst the actual aluminium fence was sent to be powder coated. On Monday Chris and his team arrived promptly at at 8:00am as confirmed (On time). They were all cheerful, engaging and courteous. Chris also happily leveled the uneven area where the RV will be parked, spread soil in areas around the yard for me and removed all of the existing fence debris and remaining excess sand/soil leaving a clean, tidy and level area when they left. This was of incredible benefit to me as I simply would have been unable to do this myself. I have no hesitation in recommending DC Fencing for all your job needs.

Need a concrete or fiberglass pool?
When the temperature cranks up come Spring and Summer, there’s only one type of business in more demand than ice creameries...and that’s pool builders! If you’ve left it until the Summer months to reach out for pool building services—when the thermometer’s topping the 30’s and 40’s—it could be too late. When you’re looking to have a spa or pool installed at your home, it pays to plan ahead and get in early.
Aside from designing and installing pools, pool builders can help with a whole range of related services including renovations, repairs, decorative and protective treatments, lighting and a whole lot more. You may even find that leak detection, plumbing and additional excavation services are available—depending on the capabilities of the provider.
A typical pool build will need to go through council before commencing. Once the paperwork is signed-off, the build’s ready to commence!
Your pool builder will begin by excavating the area. It’s important to ensure they have the right equipment to access the site—this becomes more of a factor when your home is located in metro areas where access can be limited. Then comes the steel-fixing, where reo is tied together and placed in the excavated site to form the support for the next stage—concrete pouring and curing. All external plumbing will then be organised along with coping and any decorative elements.
Your pool builder will also be able to install your pool fencing, which is a necessity under Queensland Law. They’ll be familiar with the building code, so they can walk you through your options—homeowners typically prefer something minimalistic, that integrates with their building.
After landscaping and fence inspection, you’ll be ready to enjoy the fruits of your labour sipping margheritas whilst floating on your flamingo, doughnut or inflatable pirate ship! To make sure your enjoying Summer in comfort; find a local Hervey Bay pool builder today!
