Pleasantly surprised - It was delivered to the motel in 20 mins from order. All was as was ordered and all was very good. The beef curry had plenty of beef and the duck in plum sauce plenty of duck. The Special Fried rice tasty but as in most ‘special fried rices’ was little shy on the good bits. I’d do it again.

Where social players are always welcome Dr Hurdzan utilised the undulating topography to create a wonderful course that traverses rugged terrain with severe elevation changes. Several green complexes sit in little amphitheatres, buried in the hillside beneath extravagant home sites. Tallwoods is an arborist’s delight featuring a mixture of high canopy majestic eucalyptus (tallowoods, blackbutt, ironbark, yellow gums and red gums) with prolific native vegetation and extensive water features throughout the course. Once you scale the side of a mountain on a meandering path you are gifted with spectacular views above the tree tops to the ocean. Tallwoods is located on the Mid North Coast a 3.5 hour drive north of Sydney. We have 15 new, superbly furnished, bungalows which are the perfect base for an escape to the spectacular Great Lakes region. The Great Lakes region also unfurls beautiful beaches ideal for swimming, surfing and fishing. Scuba diving is great in this area, as well as dolphin and whale watching cruises. Tallwoods Country Club is the home to Belcanto's Restaurant which is perfect for casual dining anytime of the day. With a relaxed, informal atmosphere and a passionate team, they create a unique food experience that you’ll love. So whether you join Belcanto's for an early morning coffee, lazy breakfast, working lunch, dinner with friends, or just a perfectly crafted cocktail (or two) in our bar. You even have the option to drink & dine al-fresco in our peaceful outdoor areas overlooking the golf course. I just got in my car to check who the owner is so I could warn them that things are not good. I’ve been going here once or twice a week for a decade. Last few times there has been 1. No hot food at all, 2. A long queue to even pay for gas, 3, again today no food Perhaps they are just understaffed. I really wish they would improve so I could go again. Where are all the lovely older experienced people who used to work here. The young staff are doing their best. But today the grill doesn’t work. Time before the till. Time before nothing worked at all so no hot food at all. It’s sad they have to work in these conditions. Just read online that Caltex took over th e management. Have to say it shows. Have given 3 stars just for the three young staff doing their best today and being polite

Lunch was one of the best lunch’s, soft creamy cooked to perfection salmon, sweet potato crunchy chips and fresh salad 🥗. Roadies chicken burger was a big burger full of flavour juice chicken with all the trimmings. Hubby said best burger he’s eaten. Service was friendly service, staff made sure our ordered came out with coffee at the end as requested. Will come back again thank you 🙏 🌻😊

Stroud Country Club is a venue with it all. The golf course is in fantastic condition, the beer is cheap, the view from the balcony over Stroud is just sensational and the meals from the restaurant Three Birdies are outstanding. Highly recommend making it a venue to visit and stop a while.

We stayed here for 3 nights to ride the twisty roads. We won the meat raffle Friday night and the pub supplied a BBQ where we cooked a few meals near the motel units where we stayed. Very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. Excellent weekend. We Would definitely do that again!

Really enjoyed staying here. Very friendly staff, good selection of beer and the food was fresh and delicious. Absolutely loved the John Murray paintings on the walls. Will definitely be back!

Stroud Country Club is a venue with it all. The golf course is in fantastic condition, the beer is cheap, the view from the balcony over Stroud is just sensational and the meals from the restaurant Three Birdies are outstanding. Highly recommend making it a venue to visit and stop a while.

Food perfectly cooked and fresh ingredients, so def worth a short wait. Service was excellent and owners very obliging. I tried several dishes and all were excellent. We will return for sure! Highly recommended.

Bought the il Colosseo pizza here on Saturday night,one of the best pizzas I've ever had.I live in Maitland and come to Taree often,will be back in a couple of weeks and will be going back for another pizza.Well done guys.

Lunch was one of the best lunch’s, soft creamy cooked to perfection salmon, sweet potato crunchy chips and fresh salad 🥗. Roadies chicken burger was a big burger full of flavour juice chicken with all the trimmings. Hubby said best burger he’s eaten. Service was friendly service, staff made sure our ordered came out with coffee at the end as requested. Will come back again thank you 🙏 🌻😊

We stayed here for 3 nights to ride the twisty roads. We won the meat raffle Friday night and the pub supplied a BBQ where we cooked a few meals near the motel units where we stayed. Very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. Excellent weekend. We Would definitely do that again!

Cosy but spacious and extremely clean. The waitress provide a great service with a smile. Food is absolutely delicious, especially the Sweet Chili Chicken. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING SOON!!
