The Bucking Bull Hotel was constructed as a single storey building in the 1880s and extended with a second storey added in 1924. It is the oldest surviving hotel in Coonamble and the only such establishment dating from the 19th century. The former Club House Hotel is an interesting local example of the Federation Arts and Crafts Style. It is representative of the redevelopment of Coonamble’s business district from the 1880s. The hotel has local historical and aesthetic significance, representativeness and a high degree of integrity.

The Royal HotelThought it was average considering its upmarket look. Was there on a Sunday evening for tea & cocktails. Tea was fine but not to brag about. We had a cocktail & then went to get another & were told they were serving no more cocktails that night - it was 6.45pm REALLY.
