Midpoint Psychology is a private psychology practice based in Darwin. Founded in 2023, we provide psychological services to adults across the lifespan and from all walks of life. Dr Kerri Thomas is a clinical psychologist, the director of Breakthrough Psychology, married, and mum to two young girls. She has a masters in clinical psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy majoring in clinical psychology. Kerri specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and has a lot of experience working with adolescent and adults. Kerri has worked in forensic settings, private psychiatric facilities, public mental health settings, universities, and in organisational psychology. The range of issues that Kerri has encountered is large and varied, but commonly includes issues relating to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, anger management, relationships, disordered eating and eating disorders, obesity, and bullying. Breakthrough Psychology also provides online and phone counselling services to people living in remote and regional communities who have limited access to counsellors, or for anyone living in Australia who would prefer to speak to a counsellor online or on the phone. Kerri is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and also a member of the clinical college with the APS.

Arthur van Eigen is a psychologist and psychotherapist with an international professional journey spanning more than three decades. He works at his current longstanding private practice in Coolalinga NT, Australia. Prior to his present endeavours, Arthur performed for 13 years as Executive Director of Relationships Australia NT. For the last 20 years in his private practice, Arthur offers a complete selection of psychology, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy services to accommodate the needs of a diverse range of patients. Arthur is a passionate and caring healthcare practitioner who credits his career to the collective experience that his patients have provided him with and their special ways of sharing their stories with him. Arthur is a registered psychologist. To stay active in his field, Arthur van Eigen is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, the Psychology Board of Australia, the Psychologist Association of Australia, the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine, the Australian Association for Relationship Counselling, the Atlanta Hypnosis Institute USA, the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry Psychology and Law, and the College of Medical Hypnosis. In addition, he is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Arthur is also an active presenter and author with multiple clinical papers introduced at national and international conferences and his close collaboration with Prof. Luciano L'Abate in the USA. Arthur's papers are influenced by the early work of Gregory Bateson, Milton Erickson, Paul Watzlawick, and the Palo Alto Group, Luciano L'Abate, Carl Rogers, Madelene Klein, Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud.
