I am a very enthusiastic collector of any type of plant and always looking to expand my knowledge of plants and how to grow them to their best. A vast range of healthy tubestock ranging from natives, exotics and cottage plants and also includes a range of fruit trees, flowers and vegetable seedlings, beautiful indoors, natives, carnivorous, collectable and unusual as well as some more advanced stock generally available. Passion: All plants are carefully sourced and propagated to allow a large healthy range of stock and where possible obtained from local growers to support local businesses. Researching availability of plants to provide the best quality and the opportunity of learning as much to share knowledge of plants and how best to grow them. Orara Valley Native Plant Nursery supplies native plant species local to the Mid North Coast region. These plants are mainly in forestry tubes and suitable for coastal and rural re-vegetation projects as well as smaller garden situations. I am passionate about, and have extensive knowledge on growing local native plant species. I can offer expert advice on the procedure when commencing both small scale and larger re-vegetation projects plus follow up action required. I can give information on growing conditions of plants, e.g. climate variations such as wind, frosts, full sun, part shade, wet or dry, soil types and location such as low-lying areas near creeks and rivers or high banks to give better drainage. By growing native plant species and encouraging the re-generation of our bushland, we are all doing our part to ensure the diversity and environmental stability of this place we call home.
