Colleen left a review for Pain Relief Massage Clinic
Extremely happy with results

I have been coming to this massage therapist for several years now and there were many times when I was struggling with horrific muscle pain & Keishi was the only therapist to provide relief. So happy I am now more active. Keishi always asks if I have specific problems & if so he addresses that area, bringing great relief. He also operates in a professional manner as well as very prompt and provides a complete service. You can also claim 60% of the cost from private health but make sure you check this prior to seeing him. The refund is done immediately after my treatment so no waiting around or filling out forms etc, I only have to pay a small gap. I have endured many so called remedial massages but not one comes anywhere near the standard Keishi provides. He asks, he listens attentively and applies treatment accordingly.

Amazing Treatments

I have been seeing Annie and Pauline at The Healing Cottage for a few months now, tried a couple of treatments they have on offer and loved every single one of them. What amazing ladies, a beautiful peaceful place to go for a wide variety of treatments. Amazing, divine and relaxing, that's how I describe Annie's healing hands....give the cottage a try, you won't be disappointed. A regular for life, thank you ladies x x

90 minutes of bliss

I enjoyed a deeply relaxing massage relieving me from stress and tired limbs after a long flight. Staff is very knowledgable regarding medical issues and sports injuries. This is key to find the best massage treatment for you.

Common questions about massage therapists

Will the massage hurt?

This depends on the type of massage and the depth of the strokes. A light, relaxing massage that doesn't probe deep into the muscles, shouldn't hurt.

How many sessions will I need?

Honestly, it’s hard to say. Every person is unique and every condition is unique to each person. It may take one session or it may take several.

If I want a really deep massage shouldn't I see a male therapist?

No. It’s a matter of style, training, and therapist preference. Some therapists prefer not to give really deep sessions.

How long will a massage treatment last?

The average full-body massage treatment lasts approximately one hour. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial massage session.

Do I have to cover myself with a sheet or towel?

This is known as draping and depends on the therapist and in some cases, the law. The vast majority of therapists will insist on draping.

What do I do during a massage treatment?

Make yourself comfortable. If your therapist wants you to adjust your position, she/he will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed.

How often should I get a massage?

It varies from person to person. If you are just looking for some occasional relaxation, then a session every 3-6 weeks may be fine for you.

How will I feel after my massage treatment?

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience a significant decrease or freedom from long-term aches and pains.

What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit?

Before a massage, you’ll complete a medical history form and be asked a few questions to assess your needs. And then it’s time to relax.

Do I have to be fully undressed for a massage?

Your massage therapist will direct you to undress to your underwear or a level that is comfortable for you. A towel is always used to maintain your modesty.
