Massage treatment

Sun Moon Massage is without doubt the very best masseuse on the Gold Coast. Jenny Sun has treated me for over three years and I can recommend her to anyone who suffers from pain. She is truly amazing. Recommended by physics chiropractors and sport trainers. Jenny is the go-to person when other treatments have not worked. If you care about your health and wellbeing as I do, then make Sun Moon Massage part of your life. Regards Sean

Extremely happy with results

I have been coming to this massage therapist for several years now and there were many times when I was struggling with horrific muscle pain & Keishi was the only therapist to provide relief. So happy I am now more active. Keishi always asks if I have specific problems & if so he addresses that area, bringing great relief. He also operates in a professional manner as well as very prompt and provides a complete service. You can also claim 60% of the cost from private health but make sure you check this prior to seeing him. The refund is done immediately after my treatment so no waiting around or filling out forms etc, I only have to pay a small gap. I have endured many so called remedial massages but not one comes anywhere near the standard Keishi provides. He asks, he listens attentively and applies treatment accordingly.

Dr. F. Whitte left a review for 25 Lily Massage

Excellent massage, good presentation, clean, choice of many types of massage ie Chinese, Thai, deep tissue, Swedish, Vietnamese etc. Prices reasonable. The only thing stopping five star rating is the rooms are not five star. Everything else is five star.

Common questions about massage therapists

Do I have to be fully undressed for a massage?

Your massage therapist will direct you to undress to your underwear or a level that is comfortable for you. A towel is always used to maintain your modesty.

What do I do during a massage treatment?

Make yourself comfortable. If your therapist wants you to adjust your position, she/he will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed.

How many sessions will I need?

Honestly, it’s hard to say. Every person is unique and every condition is unique to each person. It may take one session or it may take several.

What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit?

Before a massage, you’ll complete a medical history form and be asked a few questions to assess your needs. And then it’s time to relax.

If I want a really deep massage shouldn't I see a male therapist?

No. It’s a matter of style, training, and therapist preference. Some therapists prefer not to give really deep sessions.

Do I have to cover myself with a sheet or towel?

This is known as draping and depends on the therapist and in some cases, the law. The vast majority of therapists will insist on draping.

How often should I get a massage?

It varies from person to person. If you are just looking for some occasional relaxation, then a session every 3-6 weeks may be fine for you.

How will I feel after my massage treatment?

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience a significant decrease or freedom from long-term aches and pains.

Will the massage hurt?

This depends on the type of massage and the depth of the strokes. A light, relaxing massage that doesn't probe deep into the muscles, shouldn't hurt.

How long will a massage treatment last?

The average full-body massage treatment lasts approximately one hour. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial massage session.
