Sahaja Yoga is based on an experience called 'Self Realisation' when a dormant energy within, known as Kundalini, gets awakened and rises up through the spinal cord and breaks through the top of the head and gets connected with the 'All Pervading Power' which exists in the whole universe. This 'Self Realisation' is also known as 'Yoga' or union with 'The Self' When this awakening happens, a person can feel at one with themself, grounded and balanced. This experience is beyond thought so cannot be described adequately. Everyone's experience is different, depending on their level of understanding, but one thing is certain. a positive change can and will happen.
