Our Akhanda Yoga Teacher Trainings offer a nurturing environment in which to delve further into yoga. The self-creating transformational experiences, coupled with the clear and concise knowledge of yoga, this 200-hour teacher training results in the progression from yoga practitioner to high quality teacher. We offer a wonderful location in the foothills of Springbrook National Park. Our Ashram style Retreat Centre is a beautiful location to practice Yoga, Meditation and learn from our amazing Yoga Teacher, right here in the Gold Coast. As Teachers of yoga in the foothills of Gold Coast Hinterland, we are YOGA ALLIANCE registered. The Yoga Alliance has set a widely-accepted international standard for Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) programs which includes a minimum of 180 contact hours across five areas of teaching: techniques, philosophy/lifestyle/ethics, teaching methodology, anatomy, and a teaching practicum. Study and discussion of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, aphorisms giving insight into the profound yoga practices and contemplations, as well as their life-transforming benefits � Yoga Teaching practicum and feedback from the trainers and your peers Retreat Centre - Ashram Style Accommodation Our cabins are nestled among the trees at our Austinville Retreat Centre in Austinville Valley. Our Ashram style Retreat Centre is located in the Gold Coast hinterland in the foothills of the Springbrook National Park and will be your home away from home for the duration of the course. The cabins will be shared by two or three other members of the same sex teacher trainees. Cabins are very comfortable with proper single beds, although living is ashram-style. All meals are provided and use of the main house, bathroom, swimming pool and beautiful newly built Finnish sauna are included in your stay.
