Mooloolah River Fisheries owns and operates a commercial fishing and processing operation in the port of Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia. Construction was completed and operations began in August 2002. The complex consists of a commercial fishing vessel marina, unloading wharf facilities, ice making plant, cold stores, a general processing factory, tuna pack house, fuel supply and retail seafood market. The facility holds both EU and HACCP accreditation with it's own Quality Assurance program. The complex is environmentally friendly with a fully integrated environmental system that covers the entire site, maintaining all seafood waste, surface and storm water or spillage, providing maximum protection to the local environment.
