Part of the new KGV Community Complex, it features a state-of-the-art function room, football facilities, legends lounge, and bar. Glenorchy Knights Football Club is a Football (Soccer) club which represents the City of Glenorchy and surrounds in the National Premier League Tasmania and southern championship, youth, junior and social league for mens and womens, boys and girls. The club was formed in 1956 when a group of young Croatians kicking the ball around on Cadburys Reserve after work each day decided to form a club. In 1957, the Croatia-Hobart Soccer Club was registered and joined the Tasmanian Soccer Association in Division Two. Hard work and enthusiasm enabled the club to win the 1959 Division Two premiership. This led to promotion in 1960 to the highest level of competition being the Southern Premier League.
