Our Club was formed on Australia Day 26th January 1989 by our Mother Club, West Gosford, to serve the rapidly growing Kariong and Mountains area of the Central Coast, with the approval of then District Governor, John Lang OAM. The Club had its charter night at Old Sydney Town which was to be our home for the next 11 years. With Old Sydney Town approaching closure a new home was needed for the Club. In 2001, the Phillip House complex in the State owned Mount Penang Parklands at Kariong was offered as a venue for a community organisation to refurbish and open up as a facility for the whole community. Our Club submitted a tender and was offered a lease on the buildings on this basis. Since then we have poured in many hours and funds to make it a home not only for ourselves but a venue for many other community groups and as a hall available for a variety of functions.

Waterfall Cafe is Located within the Mt Penang Parklands and is situated as the gateway to Mt Penang Gardens. You will have no troubles finding a place to park near the cafe as parking spaces are in abundance and within an easy stroll to your awaiting table. If required you may even organize - by contacting us prior, to be dropped of within 10 meters of the cafe door. Our family friendly cafe welcomes people of all ages with easy access for prams, wheelchairs and walking aids. There is also plenty of room for the children to burn off some energy playing (with parental supervision) on the red area out the front. So why not Drop in for a cuppa and be tempted by our mouth watering menus and stay for either a yummy breakfast, a fabulous lunch or a scrumptious Indian Evening Meal. If you can't stay we can happily offer you a delectable take away.

Noonaweena’s genesis remains steeped in mystery to this day. Known as Noonaweena Health Centre in the 1950’s, Noonaweena is alleged to have been a private destination for the nation’s movers and shakers, who’d mingle amidst chandeliers and mud baths. That said; guests with a penchant for research are welcome to contribute their findings to Noonaweena’s missing years. Following a period known only now though rumour and hearsay, a new chapter in the story of Noonaweena begun in 1999.
