Located in the beautiful town of Kingscliff, Northern Rivers in New South Wales our Shiny Brew Cafe is nestled amongst neighbouring communities such as Cabarita Beach, Cudgen, and Fingal Head (just to name a few). Since starting our quest for a change of lifestyle, Leighton and I wanted to move somewhere that was focused on being a community, for our children, but also so that we could one day open a café. Enter Shiny Brew!!! We are so happy with our move from Brisbane, this Region has such a wealth of beautiful produce to use as well as a beautiful, relaxing but community-driven way of life. We are so very excited to be able to use all of the local produce to entice everyone. Shiny can mean anything you want it to, there are so many options. For us, the name Shiny stems from so many things, it was impossible for us not to use it for our café. Shiny as in, we have started a brand new Shiny life (moving from Brisbane and for myself especially as I gave up a Corporate Career of approximately 18 years), a brand new Shiny café in a new Shiny and beautiful building, we live next to the amazing beach at Kingscliff with the very Shiny sun and it is also a saying from one of our most favourite TV shows, Shiny meaning cool, neat, peachy keen, good …so everything’s Shiny here in more sense than one!!!

Offering open plan warehouse style living, The Big Blue Barn is perfectly suited for friends and families who fancy an incredibly relaxed holiday with plenty of space to unwind Enter along your own private tree-lined road, splash around in your own private pool in a tropical oasis setting, complete with mini sandy beach. Entertain or relax on the terracotta entrance deck and paved side courtyard with BBQ or while away your time in the lush gardens and the fields a-plenty for your dose of good country air. For accommodation with a delightfully quirky twist, the separate �Free Spirit� Love Bus with double bed, self-contained kitchen and bathroom will be soon be available on application. Perfectly situated in the heart of the Byron Shire, the Big Blue Barnyard is an easy 5 minute drive to the beach, to Mullumbimby or Brunswick Heads and 15 minutes to the centre of Byron Bay. We are 35 minutes from either Ballina or Coolangatta (Gold Coast) airport�Shuttle buses available from either airport to the Uncle Tom's Mullumbimby drop off point literally across the road from the property.
