After professional careers in the United States that spanned over a decade, Kristy Tancred & Rider D. Vierling are proud to bring Newcastle Ballet Theatre to the Hunter Region. Newcastle Ballet Theatre will be offering a wide range of classes for tiny tots, to beginners to pre-professionals and adults. In addition to our ACB syllabus and open ballet classes, we will also be offering Boys Classes, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Jazz/Hip Hop, Pilates, Stretch / Conditioning Tiny Tots ballet, Adult ballet classes and a full time training program designed for the serious student wishing to have a career as a professional dancer or teacher. Our aim is to provide professional training within a creative, caring and challenging environment where every student can flourish. We want to make our school an enjoyable place to come and learn such a disciplined art form, and we genuinely care that we get the absolute best out of each student so they can reach their full potential.

The East Maitland Academy of Dance is run by János Szabó, a member of the Hungarian National Ballet who took over the school, which was establishedin 1947, in 2009. The aims of the school are to create an optimal learning environment in order to enable the students to achieve the highest level they are capable of in the genre they wish to pursue. Classical Ballet training provides the technical support base form which all the other genres of dance benefit. Students are guided by highly skilled professionals in Classical (R.A.D), Vaganova, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.
